Honda Civic 1993

Honda is a Japan based manufacturer of automobiles. The Honda Civic is one of the series of cars produced by Honda. This series was introduced in July 1972. Initially, it was introduced as a two-door sedan; later, Honda changed it to 3-door hatchback. This latter version of the Honda civic had a 1169 cc engine and was a front wheel drive. The basic model, which was initially released had AM radio, heater, foam cushioned plastic trim, two speed wipers, and a painted steel rim with a chromed wheel nut cap. In the year 1992, the Honda Civic saw some changes. The model was reformed to a sleek wedge shape and was expanded in both dimensions and the trim level. The wheelbase was changed to 101.3 inches for the 2 door sedan and 103.2 inches for the four door sedan. In the year 1993, the two door sedan with a notchback coupe was offered in two different versions, namely DX and EX. The DX model was powered with a 1.5 liter engine, which produced about 102 horsepower. The four-speed automatic transmission was an option available on the DX hatchback model. The EX model can produce 125 horsepower from a 1.6 liter engine. The EX had a five-speed manual transmission. The security system had been upgraded in the EX model. There is an airbag near the driver's seat and it also has standard antilock (ABS) brakes. The Ex model was also introduced with a high power stereo with cassette player. In the year 1994, Honda brought out the LX model in the Honda Civic. The LX version was basically introduced to fill the gap between the most advanced version in this series, that is the EX, and the lowest version in this series, that is the DX. The LX version has power windows, locks, mirrors, tachometer etc.
